Hello, my name is Heather Stephens and I am the founder of IB Jammin, which began doing business in February, 2016! I love making food from scratch and trying out new and fun ways to cook. While searching in a recipe book one day, I flipped past a recipe for homemade strawberry jam and I figured I'd try my hand at canning. This is where this whole thing began! My husband, Joshua Stephens, pushed me to start selling all these incredible jars of goodness (honestly, because the pantry was starting to fill up with jars).
I operated out of our home under the Texas Cottage Food Law for about a year, and then decided to expand and get the licensing needed to ship, sell online, and be featured in stores. Also, I now can my jars in a licensed, commercial kitchen (McKinney Copper Kitchen) instead of my home.
